This online consultation seeks your feedback on the adjustments to the WBG Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for the period of Fiscal Year (FY) 16-20 proposed under the Performance and Learning Review (PLR) for Uzbekistan. The World Bank Group welcomes views from private sector, civil society organizations, academic community, think tanks, individual experts and citizens to finalize the PLR report and make the existing CPF relevant for Uzbekistan and its people in transforming the country, reducing extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity.

About the Performance and Learning Review

This PLR for Uzbekistan marks the turning point in the implementation of the World Bank Group (WBG) program in the country, originally outlined in the CPF, and designed to introduce changes to the WBG program in response to lessons learned from the CPF implementation and significant changes in the country context and government priorities. The PLR provides an opportunity for updating focus areas, the choice and mix of instruments, and the modalities or criteria for engagement, as necessary. 

Who will be engaged?

Consultations to solicit feedback to the PLR will take place in Uzbekistan during the months of April-May 2018. The PLR team will meet with a wide range of stakeholders, including government counterparts, development partners, private sector and civil society representatives. In addition to face-to-face consultation, online platform will allow citizens to submit questions and comments.

Online Consultations

The objective of these online consultations is to seek broader feedback and comments from all interested parties on the initial findings of the PLR for Uzbekistan, which is available in PDF format above.  WBG looks forward to receiving views from the private sector, civil society organizations, the academic community, think tanks, individual experts and citizens to finalize the document, and make the CPF more responsive to the country’s needs in the light of the ongoing transformation processes.

The online consultation period is open from April 12, 2018 to May 7, 2018.
