Asmeen Khan is the Manager of Operations/Acting Country Director for the World Bank in Southern Africa, based in Pretoria. Ms. Khan has over twenty-five years of experience working in Asia and Africa on governance, environment, and rural development issues. Prior to her current position in South Africa, Ms. Khan was the Global Practice Manager in Governance for the World Bank in Washington DC. Prior to working for the Bank Ms. Khan worked for Foundations, Policy Think Tanks and NGOs.
