JSDF Grants for
Post-Tsunami Recovery Measures
In January 2005, the
Government of Japan allocated an additional US$20 million to the Japan
Social Development Fund (JSDF) for grants to finance support for those
affected by the December 26, 2004, tsunami. The deadline has now expired
for submission of proposals for funding under this emergency facility.
To date, twelve grants have been approved and an additional three grants
are under consideration. The grants already approved appear in the table
below.
