JSDF Grants for Post-Tsunami Recovery Measures

In January 2005, the Government of Japan allocated an additional US$20 million to the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) for grants to finance support for those affected by the December 26, 2004, tsunami. The deadline has now expired for submission of proposals for funding under this emergency facility. To date, twelve grants have been approved and an additional three grants are under consideration.
