INFORMATION CENTER

• Coordinate and develop network of Public Information Centers (PIC) located in Bank country offices around the world.
• A comprehensive information and reference center where information assistants answer specific questions or connect you to experts, knowledge and information resources within the Bank.
• Seven workstations and high-speed printers for public use to browse the Bank's website and CD-ROMs.
• Guidance on using Bank information resources.
• Provide bibliographic information on topical issues.

Everyone is welcome at the InfoShop. Researchers will find books and documents on every aspect of development. Companies may want to visit regularly to keep abreast of opportunities generated by Bank-supported project. Nongovernmental organizations, embassies, and other international institutions will also find the InfoShop useful in tracking the Bank's experience in the developing world and helping disseminate information. Even the general public can find useful resources on various issues such as development economics, globalization, gender issues, cultural heritage, and anticorruption measures, which are by all means a full range of topics available.

The InfoShop is located at 701 18th Street, N.W., Washington D.C., U.S.A. The entrance is at the corner of 18th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. Farragut North and Farragut West are the closest Metro stations.
