 As part of the PRAL group (comprising ports & logistics, railways and aviation), the mission of the railways team is to promote, among World Bank staff, awareness and exchange of good practice in railways activities, in terms of institutional development, operations, and finance, through training courses, study tours, and sharing of experience. For our borrowers, we willl organize and help deliver training in key areas of transport systems regulation, organization and management, to increase overall efficiency of national transport networks and enhance external trade competitiveness. We will provide a world-class knowledge base on all relevant public management aspects of railways operations.
