Training Scientists to Boost Food Safety in China

Chinese food scientists are training to be instructors on food safety analytical procedures as part of a pilot project supported by the Global Food Safety Partnership, Waters Corporation, and other partners. After completing a one-week training course at the International Food Safety Training Institute Laboratory at the University of Maryland, the scientists return to China to put their newfound skills to practical use and provide technical training to other people working in the Chinese food supply chain.
