Seven multilateral development banks announced a joint initiative to improve road safety and stem rising road deaths and injuries in developing countries, and meet targets of the UN Decade for Road Safety 2011-2020. To help boost the initiative, the World Bank hosted an event that included Michelle Yeoh and NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
