Projects & Programs

The portfolio currently comprises nine local and six regional active projects  with net commitment of $681 million. Project objectives have ranged from helping farmers manage marshland and hillside cropping to rehabilitating water supply systems and providing electricity to rural households. Some of the key projects and programs funded by the World Bank Group include the Rwanda Electricity Access Scale-up and Sector Wide Approach (SWAp) Development Project ($70 million) and Land Husbandry, Water Harvesting and Hillside Irrigation ($69 million), Rwanda Second Support to Social Protection System ($50 million),Transport Sector Development ($22million)  and Feeder Roads ($45million).
