The Government of Jordan asked the World Bank Group to assess its pipeline of investment projects, with a focus on its 2019 pipeline. The Strategic Assessment: The 2019 Project Pipeline for Jordan was subsequently presented in London on 28 February 2019 at the Jordan: Growth and Opportunity, the London Initiative 2019, which was co-hosted by the Government of Jordan and the UK Government. A major international event, the London Initiative 2019 mobilized an international coalition of global political leaders, CEOs of international business and investors to assist Jordan in charting a roadmap to economic recovery and resiliency.
