Peteranne Donaldson is the Alternate Executive Director from Jamaica to the Board of Executive Directors of the World Bank Group.
Before assuming her duties as Alternate Executive Director, Ms. Donaldson was a Senior Technical Advisor to the Director General of the Planning Institute in Kingston, Jamaica. Ms. Donaldson comes with thirteen years of experience in macroeconomic and industry analysis with knowledge of and experience in sustainable development policy and planning.
As a member of the senior technical advisory body, she provided leadership and guidance, specifically with respect to the provision of technical and policy advice to high level government officials on a continuous basis, including Cabinet members. She provided leadership in the process of coordinating socio-economic policy development within the Planning Institute of Jamaica, and across Ministries Departments and Agencies, particularly with respect to the Growth Agenda. As a member of the senior management team of PIOJ, she provided strategic and technical guidance for the efficient operation of the organization.
Ms. Donaldson was on the Board of Directors of the Statistical Institute of Jamaica from 2013 till October 2015.
Ms. Donaldson holds a M.Sc. in Economics with international technical training in financial programming and policies from the University of West Indies; and a B.Sc. in Management Studies with Economics from the University of West Indies, Jamaica.
