Inguna Dobraja, who is from Latvia, is the World Bank’s Country Manager for Cambodia.
Prior to joining the Bank, Inguna served as Director in the Ministry of Welfare in Latvia. From 1998 to 2004, she served as Country Manager for Latvia. Since 2004, Inguna worked as Senior Social Protection Specialist in Europe and Central Asia Human Development Unit; Senior Operations Officer, Africa Sector Unit in Angola; and Advisor to the Nordic-Baltic Executive Director of the World Bank representing Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. In 2012, she was the World Bank Country Manager for Liberia.
She holds a Masters in Economics; in 2000, she completed the Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School.
