Anne Tully

Country Representative for Solomon Islands, East Asia and Pacific, East Asia and Pacific

Anne Tully is a New Zealand national with more than 10 years of experience at the World Bank, including operational experience in the regions of South Asia and East Asia Pacific. She has held the role of Country Representative for Solomon Islands since January 2013 and is based in the country’s capital, Honiara.

Prior to taking up this position, Anne worked as Senior Operations Officer in the Bank’s Fragile and Conflict-Affected Countries Group. She was also Senior Public Sector Specialist in the South Asia Region. Before coming to the World Bank, Anne served with the New Zealand Government for over 10 years working in the New Zealand Treasury and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade with assignments in the Philippines as well as Pacific Island countries such as Fiji and the Cook Islands.

She holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree with first class Honors in economics from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
