Incheon, March 30, 2015- World Bank Group Korea Office joined the Incheon International Organizations Consultative Partnership (IIOCP) between the Incheon Metropolitan City and the international organizations based in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
IIOCP was established in July 2014 to facilitate and increase cooperation between International Organizations located in Incheon and to ensure that the local community benefits from their presence.
Ms. Joyce Msuya, Special Representative of the Korea Office confirmed the participation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, Mr. Yoo Jeong-bok.
The Korea Office will be working with nine other international organizations in the IIOCP such as the Green Climate Fund, UNESCAP, and UN-APCICT to regularly reach out to the local community by hosting information sessions and educational programs connected with universities in Incheon.
