The World Bank organized a series of training sessions on Procurement, Fraud and Corruption in World Bank Group-financed projects held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan on February 14-17, 2017.

The workshops brought together key national stakeholders involved in implementation of development projects financed by WBG, as well as relevant procurement, financial management, project management, auditing, and oversight representatives.

The main objective of the workshops was to raise awareness and better inform stakeholders about procurement and anti-corruption policies of the WBG, and to initiate an open discussion on how to prevent, detect, and address procurement malpractices and corruptive practices in projects.
