President Kim met with the UK parliament’s International Development Committee (IDC) in the World Bank headquarters. Following the general election in the UK earlier this year, the meeting with President Kim was part of a full day at the World Bank during which the MPs discussed the Bank’s plans to support and deliver the Sustainable Development Goals.

Following the general election in the UK earlier this year, the meeting with President Kim was part of a full day at the World Bank during which the MPs discussed the Bank’s plans to support and deliver the SDGs. Stephen Twigg the newly appointed Chair of the IDC felt the meeting with Dr Kim was very useful and provide an excellent basis for building relations with the Bank over the course of the UK parliament through to 2020. Dr Kim reiterated his thanks to the UK Government for its achievement of the 0.7% ODA target and the continuing excellent partnership.
