TYPESETTING/COMPOSITION SERVICES

The World Bank Group (WBG) supports communication and exchange of knowledge. It publishes and disseminates a large selection of knowledge products covering a broad range of economic and social issues, development policy, finance, health, education, environment, trade, poverty, climate change, and globalization. The products that require typesetting and composition services include books, annual reports, newsletters, and brochures with one- to four-color text. They range in complexity from simple all-text documents to complex documents with large numbers of tables, charts, mathematical formulas, photos, and maps.
Within this context, WBG is seeking to engage up to 3 contractors to perform typesetting and composition services. Bidders need to pass mandatory criteria in order to advance to the technical proposal evaluation comprising of:
Phase 1 - Written Technical Proposal evaluation.
Phase 2 - Test Sample evaluation; and
Phase 3 - Project Manager Interview.
Award will be made to up- to- three (3) lowest priced technically qualified bidders. It is the intent of the WBG to award at least one contract to a women-owned business enterprises (WBE). Detailed information is found in the RFP.

The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000. Offeror's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.
The World Bank reserves the right to reject any or all responses without recourse.
