The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development hereinafter referred to as “WBG” invites expression of interest from firms for the receipt of a REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REI)for GLOBAL EVENT PRODUCTION SERVICE FOR GPE FINANCING CAMPAIGN
BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK
The World Bank Group is seeking a firm to provide Global Event Production Services for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Financing Campaign service for its offices in Washington, D.C and Europe. GPE Secretariat is now gearing up to its fourth financing campaign which will include an international financing conference in 2021. A critical element of this campaign is raising the awareness at global and country level on the need to increase education financing. One way to do so is to curate strategic moments and events targeting decision makers in donor and developing countries at national, regional and global levels. As a part of the Campaign, a number of events will be produced for virtual and hybrid (virtual and in-person) settings. The events will be different in terms of style, content and audience in order to drive attention to and create a drumbeat for GPE’s global financing campaign. The Campaign will culminate in a GPE Financing Conference in July 2021 taking place in the UK (pending COVID-19 restrictions). The event will be a two-day event with two separate segments – a partnership segment, followed by a High-Level pledging segment. The general type of services will include the following:
a) Advise on virtual, hybrid and in person event options for each moment identified incl input on keynote speakers, agenda, outcome report, web streaming etc.
b) Produce a mixture of virtual, hybrid and high level multi day in person events with multiple parallel sessions to support GPE’s financing campaign incl registration, logistics, contracting etc.
c) Coordinate actual logistics in connection with the actual execution of the event
d) Provide a sound basis for a smooth and efficient execution of the virtual event and in person events
