Accenture’s Jill Huntley Elected Chair of Solutions for Youth Employment Board of Directors

The Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) Coalition has elected Jill Huntley, Managing Director of Global Corporate Citizenship at Accenture, as its next Chair of the Board of Directors. She takes the helm from the World Bank Group’s Arup Banerji who has transitioned into a new role at the multilateral development institution.

Jill brings significant experience working in the public, non-profit and financial services sectors to her role as Chair, guiding S4YE’s multi-stakeholder initiative towards its ambitious five-year strategy. She has worked in talent and organizational change at Accenture, as well as with clients in the public sector and financial services. In 2002, Jill co-founded Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP), an innovative not-for-profit venture that channels Accenture’s skills and expertise to the international development sector. She has served on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Youth Unemployment and was a founding S4YE Board Member before being elected chair.

“I would like to thank my predecessor Arup for his audacious leadership as the very first Chair of our young Coalition. I look forward to working with our current partners and to bringing-on new partners to mobilize efforts that increase the number of young people engaged in productive work", said Jill.

 

 

Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) is a multi-stakeholder coalition among public sector, private sector, and civil society actors that aims to provide leadership and resources for catalytic action to increase the number of young people engaged in productive work. S4YE was founded, in partnership, by Accenture, International Labour Organization, International Youth Foundation, Plan International, RAND Corporation, the World Bank Group, and Youth Business International.
