The World Bank's Macroeconomic and Fiscal Management Global Practice held the Debt Manager’s Network (DMN) Webinar on International Bond Issuance on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Three noted experts made the folowing presentations:
- Christian Esters, Senior Director, EMEA Emerging Markets for Standard and Poor’s, presented “Sovereign Eurobonds: The Credit Rating Agency Perspective.”
- Pamella McLaren, Special Advisory Services Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat, covered procedural issues and other concerns critical to issuing sovereign bonds in her presentation, "Sovereign Bond Issuance."
- Gabriel Presciuttini of the International Monetary Fund highlighted the main messages from a recently published working paper, “First-time International Bond Issuance—New Opportunities and Emerging Risks,” in her presentation, "Pros and Cons of Issuing an International Bond."
