The International Finance Corporation (IFC); the private sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG); promotes sustainable economic growth in developing countries by financing the private sector and mobilizing private capital in local financial markets and international institutions; and providing advisory and risk mitigation services to businesses and governments to increase access to financing opportunities and financial inclusion. In 2023; IFC Advisory Services partnered with Enda Cash Tunisia; a payment institution and part of the ENDA group under which IFC provides technical assistance to expand the adoption and use of digital financial services across the country. Enda Cash seeks to deploy a digital financial service targeting the Tunisian mass market. The result of this support is expected to improve access to financial services for the unbanked/underbanked population in Tunisia. The customer acquisition objective of this project aims to directly reach the market with the following key objectives:1) register new customers2) support customers initiate transactions3) increase awareness of the benefits of digital financial services over cash4) increase transactional activity for existing customers5) increase transaction traffic at agent locations.IFC seeks to promote the use of digital financial services nationally and recruit an agency/firm on behalf of the client for its digital services which will offer BTL services to recruit and retain new clients. The agency will work closely with the client's team based in Tunis; Tunisia and the IFC project team.
