The overall objective of this consultancy is to measure the impact that the pilot program Aprender + - a literacy package program - is having on pedagogical practices and early reading outcomes in Mozambique and in the province of Manica in particular. It will be done by assessing students; collecting data on pedagogical practices; teachers’ content knowledge and beliefs in schools in the province of Manica; and by interviewing the monitors and school cluster coordinators that are part of the program Aprender+. The results from this impact evaluation will help inform the development and scale-up of the Aprender+ pilot program.
