The Network on Jobs and Development is a partnership financed by the World Bank’s Development Grant Facility  and sponsored by the World Bank’s Jobs Group

It is a group of five research institutions from various regions of the world:

  • Development Policy Research Unit at University of Cape Town (South Africa)
  • HKUST Institute for Emerging Market Studies (Hong Kong)
  • Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (India)
  • Institute for Structural Research (IBS, Poland)
  • Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA)

  • Create fellowships and research grants; and
  • Organize high-level dissemination activities.
