On October 16, 2025, the World Bank's MC C2-350 conference room became a forum for one of the most urgent conversations in development: how to accelerate the energy transition in ways that are both sustainable and inclusive. The side-event, "Unlocking Capital, Innovation & Jobas for a Resilient Energy Future," was organized by the Southeast Asia Voting Group with support from the Saudi Arabia executive director office. The gathering brought together policymakers, financial experts, and industry leaders from across Southeast Asia and beyond to explore solutions for a resilient energy future. 

On October 13, 2025, on the sideline of 2025 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund, the Office of Executive Director for South-East Asia Voting Group of the World Bank Group (EDS16) and the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC) co-orgnized a panel discussiion to Champion the crop's untapped potential to fuel jobs, innovation, and climate-smart growth worldwide.

EDS16 Event on May 21-22, 2025 at World Bank HQ, Washington, DC. The event was organized by the Indonesia Muslim Association in America in collaboration with Tazkia University and Sakinah Finance and supported by the Executive Director of the Southeast Asia Voting Group (EDS16).
