Future of Government Dialogue (2026) phase
In 2026, a new phase consisting of the Future of Government (FoG) Dialogue shifts from reflection to structured engagement. In a context of evolving international cooperation and rising expectations alongside fiscal and capacity constraints, the Dialogue will convene governments, stakeholders, and partners to work collectively on current governance priorities. It provides a platform for practical exchange and collaboration aimed at strengthening reform efforts and improving results for citizens.
Reimagining Government (2021) phase
Launched during a period marked by the pandemic, climate change, and conflict, Reimagining Government 2021 convened global debates on the future role, objectives, and delivery of government. Through Disruptive Debates and analytical work, it explored how government has been changing in the 21st century and introduced a framework encouraging countries to reassess their social contract, identify catalysts for change, and begin an urgent journey of transformation. The focus was on posing the right questions, not prescribing universal answers.
