Luisa Daniela Dyer Melhado
Luisa Daniela Dyer Melhado is an Analyst in the Dispute Resolution topic of the Business Ready Unit and leads the team's Methodology Handbook and Manual & Guide function. She also contributes to the Global Contributors Outreach and Internship Program functions. She joined the team in August 2021, following internships with the Resolving Insolvency indicator of the Business Ready project and the World Bank Group’s Legal Vice Presidency beginning in 2020. In addition, she completed a two-year judicial internship in Judge Charles Brower’s investment treaty arbitration practice and held internships with the Peruvian Embassy and Mission in El Salvador, Belgium, and Switzerland. Daniela is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Affairs from the George Washington University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International and Cultural Studies, with minors in French and History, from the University of Tampa. Daniela speaks English and Spanish fluently, is proficient in French, and has passive knowledge of Portuguese.
