Alejandro Solano Meardi

Alejandro Solano Meardi is an Analyst with the Financial Services topic of the Business Ready unit, which he joined in July 2024. Before joining the World Bank, he worked at WilmerHale, Squire Patton Boggs, and Consortium Legal, where he handled matters related to international disputes, data privacy, and corporate law. He also interned at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization of American States (OAS), and New Markets Lab, supporting policy work on international economic law and data privacy. Alejandro holds an LL.M. in Technology Law and Policy from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. (cum laude) from American University Washington College of Law, and a B.S. in Business Management from The Pennsylvania State University. He served as Articles Editor for the Georgetown Law Technology Review. He is fluent in Spanish.
