Participants must be accredited in order to attend the Meetings. Information about each category can be found below.

The Spring Meetings Registation Desk will be located at the World Bank Group's I Building (1850 I Street NW, Washington, D.C.). Registration will be open from Monday, April 10, through Sunday, April 16, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (subject to change). Registered participants should bring a copy of their registration confirmation letter, along with a photo ID. 

Delegate

Delegates are governmental officials of the member countries of the World Bank/IMF, who register through their respective Executive Director's office for the Meetings.

Observer

Observers are the representatives of international, regional, and economic organizations that were pre-approved and invited by the World Bank Group and IMF. Please see the list of 2022 Annual Meetings Observer Organizations. Only staff from the organizations in the Observer Organization List should apply under the Observer category. If you have any questions about Observer registration, please forward your inquiry to ObserverRegistration@worldbank.org.

Guest

Guests fall within the following categories: 

  • Private Sector: Representatives from financial institutions and banks, commercial enterprises, consulting, and contractor firms.

  • Parliamentarians and senators.

  • Academia: University professors, researchers, faculty members, and students who have research and educational interest in the operations and affairs of the World Bank/IMF. Documentation should be submitted with the application (an endorsement letter from the Head of Department or Vice Chancellor of the University) confirming status in the University and stating academic interest.

CSO

CSOs include non-governmental organizations, community groups, labor unions, indigenous people’s movements, faith-based organizations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charitable organizations, and other not-for-profit organizations. All other participants - such as representatives from the private sector, academia or governmental bodies - must apply for accreditation as a Guest or other relevant registration category.
