As of January 2026, a total of US$198 million had been pledged to the PFRD (formerly PURSE) since its inception in 2021. The PFRD MDTF is currently supported by eight development partners (DPs) — Canada, France, Iceland, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Of the pledged amount, US$167 million has been paid in. Discussions are ongoing with other DPs to join the MDTF.

The PFRD MDTF has two European Commission-funded Associated Trust Funds: the EU Support for the Palestinian Economy and Resilience (ESPERE) I and II. As of January, 2026, the EU had pledged a total of EUR 18.7 million to these funds, including contributions of EUR 9 million to ESPERE I and contributions of 9.7 million to ESPERE II.
