DAPP Event – NO MORE Virtual 5K
As part of its 20th Anniversary, the World Bank Group's Domestic Abuse Prevention Program (DAPP), in partnership with the NO MORE Foundation, presents a virtual 5K event.
About the NO MORE Week 5k: The NO MORE Week Virtual 5k Walk/Run is a special event to raise awareness and funds to help stop domestic violence and sexual assault. It's a fun way to get in your steps and make a difference at the same time. And it's a way to make our voices heard in all our communities, but still follow safety guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether you love running trails, conquering the treadmill, or walking around the neighborhood, this virtual race is for you.
About NO MORE: NO MORE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by increasing awareness, inspiring action and fueling culture change. Each year, NO MORE celebrates NO MORE Week, a week in early March when NO MORE and its allies shine a spotlight on the importance of stopping and preventing violence through special events, activities and promotions. In 2021, NO MORE Week will be held March 7th through 13th.
