The URTF supports projects developed jointly by the Government of Ukraine and the World Bank to advance Ukraine's relief, recovery, reconstruction, and reform priorities. Projects are implemented by Ukrainian government institutions and other eligible implementing agencies, with the World Bank providing financing, technical expertise, implementation support, supervision, and fiduciary oversight.
The trust fund supports operations that help restore essential services, repair critical infrastructure, strengthen government capacity, support economic recovery, and advance key reforms.
URTF-supported activities span sectors from education and health to energy, transport, housing, agriculture, and governance, and include Investment Project Financing (IPF), technical assistance (TA), and Program-for-Results (PforR) operations.
