In Niger, Sahel RESILAND has brought over 42,000 hectares of land under sustainable management—helping communities reclaim productivity in the face of desertification. By combining nature-based solutions with community-driven approaches, the program supports food security, climate resilience, and inclusive growth across fragile regions most affected by land degradation and resource scarcity.

Sahel RESILAND is helping Chad turn degraded land into opportunity. Over 62,000 hectares have already been protected for conservation and sustainable use.
