The Livable Planet Observatory (LPO) utilizes a collaborative approach to leverage modern digital technologies for a more livable planet. This concept leverages the work of multiple public and private institutions and academia around the world to facilitate access to modern data and analytics.
The LPO will leverage technological advances to support development teams and clients to use a new world of open data, cloud analytics, interactive visualization, and AI-fueled insights to better inform their work and outcomes.
This initiative is helping different teams at the World Bank build data and analytical foundations in critical aspects of the Bank’s work, including areas like multi-sectoral landscapes management, nature-based solutions, adaptation and resilience, etc.). Partnerships with relevant stakeholders will be strengthened to support this work and improve a culture of modern data-driven insights to support smart development.
