The Livable Landscapes Academy is built on three interrelated components that drive its mission:
- Knowledge Curation: Compiling and packaging data, analytics (including AI tools), and learning resources, this component identifies knowledge gaps and aims to fill them. Examples of curated resources could include self-paced learning modules, AI-powered search tools to match knowledge supply and demand, or relevant case studies and publications. The curated content supports stakeholders in making informed decisions and implementing effective landscape restoration practices.
- Knowledge Exchange: Facilitating targeted peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange, this component emphasizes in-person, hybrid, and virtual events. It includes South-South knowledge sharing, field visits to large-scale restoration programs, webinars, and workshops that foster collaboration and innovation among stakeholders.
- Impact Program: Providing customized technical assistance to selected countries, this component supports scaling positive landscape outcomes. It targets countries with high readiness and political will, aiming to provide in-country support for coalition building, financing, and cost-reducing technologies. The program focuses on measurable outcomes such as hectares under improved management and private capital mobilization.
