4 августа 2016 года Совет исполнительных директоров Всемирного банка утвердил Социально-экологические принципы (СЭП) с целью обеспечения защиты людей и охраны окружающей среды в рамках финансируемых Банком инвестиционных проектов. Составными частями Социально-экологических принципов являются разработанные Всемирным банком Концепция устойчивого развития, Социально-экологическая политика для целей инвестиционно-проектного финансирования, а также десять Социально-экологических стандартов. В них изложены обязательные для Всемирного банка и Заемщиков требования, касающиеся решения проблемы социально-экологических рисков и воздействий инвестиционных проектов. Примерами таких требований являются проведение социально-экологических оценок, консультации с затронутым местным населением относительно возможных воздействий проектов и восстановление источников средств к существованию перемещенных лиц. С помощью настоящего курса самостоятельного дистанционного обучения участники смогут ознакомиться с содержанием Социально-экологических принципов. Мы настоятельно рекомендуем участникам внимательно прочитать материалы СЭП в процессе изучения этого курса, чтобы лучше понять содержание СЭП.
