Bu kursun amacı, iklim ve afete dayanıklı kentsel gelişim projelerini finanse etmek için kullanılabilecek bir dizi finansman mekanizması hakkında Türkiye Hükümeti yetkililerine ve kentsel gelişme alanında çalışanlara bilgi vermektir. Kurs özellikle şu konularda bilgi sağlayacaktır: (1) farklı türdeki finansman araçlarına genel bir bakış ve, (2) bunların iklim ve afete dayanıklı imar faaliyetlerini finanse etmek için nasıl uygulanabileceğinin değerlendirilmesi. Kurs, afet ve iklim direnci, kentsel gelişim ve bunların finansmanı gibi kilit konuların kesişimine odaklanacaktır. Kurs, dijitalleştirilmiş bir öğrenme formatıyla afete dayanıklılık projelerine özgü finansman mekanizmaları hakkında bilginin bir yerde toplanması için değerli bir araç olarak hizmet edecektir. Bu etkileşimli, kullanıcı dostu e-kurs, belediyelerde Kentsel Dayanıklılık Projelerini uygulayan Türk yetkililere (ulusal, il ve belediye düzeyinde) yöneliktir.
