The World Bank’s Office of Suspension and Debarment (OSD), together with the Working Group, introduces the 2025 Global Suspension & Debarment Directory - the Second Edition. Based on data from the 2023 Global Suspension & Debarment Survey and presented in a standardized, comparative format, the 2025 Directory compiles how jurisdictions worldwide employ suspension, debarment, and other exclusion mechanisms. This edition expands geographic coverage to more than 36 jurisdictions across every inhabited continent and explores new areas of policy and practice, including monetary penalties, the role of compliance programs and remedial measures, and individual liability.
