Enroll in Retiree Group Term Life Insurance - HQ Staff

Summary

HQ staff with life insurance coverage are eligible to enroll in the Retiree Group Term Life Insurance program upon retirement from the World Bank Group.

The election to enroll must be submitted to HR Operations on or before the last day of active service.

The Bank Group's Group Life Insurance policy number is 28919.

Submit retirement request via the ‘Resignation or Retirement' action.

Send the Ending Employment package to the staff member.

Complete Form F00017, which is provided by HR in the Ending Employment package.

Attention:

In the Group Life Insurance coverage, if you elect:

  • the Standard option, you cannot increase the coverage to the High option.
  • the High option, you can reduce the coverage to the Standard option at any time but cannot change it again to the High option.
