High-Level Meeting on the NDP 2024-2028 in Washington, D.C.
On April 24, 2025, at the request of the Governor of the World Bank Group (WBG) for the Central African Republic (CAR), the Minister of Economy, Planning and International Cooperation, Prof. Richard Filakota, the Office of the Executive Director supported the organization in Washington, D.C., of a High-Level Meeting between the CAR Government and development partners in preparation of the Roundtable on the Financing of the National Development Plan (NDP) 2024-2028. The WBG Governor pleaded for enhanced cooperation between CAR and its traditional partners as well as for the emergence of new win-win partnerships. He invited participants to join CAR in writing a new page in the country's history that should be "marked by poverty reduction, inclusive growth and shared prosperity".
