The Tunisian Rural and Agricultural Chains of Employment (TRACE) Program is dedicated to creating jobs, particularly for women and youth, by supporting growth and innovation in Tunisia’s agri-food sector. TRACE has four components that i) address the skills gap in the agri-food labor market through targeted training provided by the Nexus Skills & Jobs for Youth Project; ii) provide financial and technical support to small producers, SMEs, and producer organizations in six governorates through entrepreneurship support projects in the governorates of Beja, Gabès, Jendouba, Kairouan, Kef, and Siliana; iii) support the introduction of innovative agri-finance and agri-insurance products; and iv) promote policy reforms that lead to a strengthened business enabling environment for the agri-food sector.
