Violent Discipline and Child Behavior: The Short and Mid-term Effects of a Virtual Parenting Support to Caregivers in Jamaica

Evaluation design

This RCT tests the impacts of digital delivery  (SMS, app, or virtual calls) of messages from a violence prevention program for parents of young children. 

Main outcomes

Parental stress (cortisol levels and self-reported), attitudes on violence against children, and violent discipline against children.

Target groups

Children aged between 2 and 6 years and their caregivers.
