Key Activities of the UHC Knowledge Hub
- Training and Capacity Building and Peer-to-Peer Learning
The Hub delivers practitioner-focused, competency-based learning opportunities and promotes peer-to-peer learning. It facilitates vibrant communities of practice by engaging academic and policy institutions. These efforts aim to strengthen capacity in public financial management, health financing, and implementation of reforms in support of UHC across low and lower-middle income countries. The first in-person co-design workshop took place in October 2025 to be followed by the first UHC Leadership program in early 2026. - Advocacy and Convening
To accelerate progress towards UHC, the Hub supports and joins convenings and events that bring together partners and governments. These engagements aim to build momentum and promote coordination around solution-driven health financing reforms. The Hub will support the first UHC High-level Forum that will take place on 6th December 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
The UHC Knowledge Hub also feeds into the WBG Academy and WHO’s program of capacity building in public financial management and health financing.
