On July 8th, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Bank Group (WBG) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) marked a milestone by signing a Letter of Intent to share geospatial content based on mutual reliance. This agreement underscores a collaborative effort between two leading financial institutions to enhance technological capabilities and foster development across Asia. The WBG will provide geospatial services to the ADB, leveraging over a decade of expertise in geo-mapping and other advanced technologies.
