The Development Impact Fund (DIF) is supported by a growing coalition of development partners committed to strengthening the systematic generation and use of evidence in development operations. Together, these partners are helping shift the development community’s focus from debating whether evidence matters to institutionalizing routine learning. As of June 2026, DIF contributors include the European Commission, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Gates Foundation, Ireland, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, the United Arab Emirates, the World Food Programme, and Wellspring Philanthropic Fund. Their combined support enables DIF to embed adaptive delivery across sectors and regions and to scale institutional learning within World Bank Group operations and beyond. Our aim is to broaden and strengthen our collaborative efforts, enhancing development practices and achieving sustainable development goals through a network grounded in evidence-based finance. Join us in contributing to a future where evidence-based development initiatives can drive significant global impact.
