Megan Lang is an Economist with the Sustainability and Infrastructure unit in the Development Research Group. Her research spans three topics: rural electrification and energy markets in Africa, barriers to climate adaptation in the private sector in low-income countries, and non-market constraints to women’s enterprise growth. Prior to joining the World Bank she was a postdoctoral scholar with the King Climate Action Initiative. She holds a Bachelor in Economics and Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College and a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC Berkeley.
