This assignment aims to support Armenia’s strategic deployment of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at the transmission level by developing a technically and economically grounded siting and sizing framework. The analysis will build on Armenia’s generation profile; load dynamics; and power flows; complemented by forward-looking simulations.
