Additionally; the study will assess how IFC can support these companies; highlighting areas where IFC can play a significant role. The Consultancy Firm will identify company leads that are suitable for investment; priority countries; and drivers; enabling IFC to create an informed strategy for semiconductor industry investment. The Consultancy Firm will conduct a market mapping and business origination exercise for the semiconductor industry and its downstream manufacturing value chain (largely users of semi-conductors in sub-component or finished products) in the LAC region; focusing specifically on companies and the specific businesses in these companies that have invested or intend to invest in the target countries of Brazil; Panama; Costa Rica; the Dominican Republic; and Mexico. Based on the Consultancy Firm’s work strong recommendations to include additional priority countries will be considered.
