The International Finance Corporation (“IFC”); a member of the World Bank; has been approached by the City of Bogota (“CoB”) through the Instituto de Desarrollo Urbano (“IDU”); to act as transaction lead advisor to for the expansion; rehabilitation; traffic management; and maintenance of two key BRT (“Bus Rapid Transit”) corridors in Bogotá: Avenida Ciudad de Cali (between Calle 80 and Puente Tibanica) and Avenida Calle 80 (between Los Heroes and Portal 80 collectively the “Project”) under a Public-Private Partnership (“PPP”). The Project includes the following interventions:1) Construction: a) Av. Ciudad de Cali between and Calle 26 and Avenida Manuel Cepeda Vargas – 5.8 kms (46.37 km – including mixed traffic lanes); b) Av. Ciudad de Cali between Calle 26 and Calle 80 – 3.4kms (26.75 km – including mixed traffic lanes). This component has Phase III studies (IDU-1352-2017).2) Maintenance: a) Av. Ciudad de Cali between Av. Manuel Cepeda Vargas and Puente Tibanica. Total maintenance of 7.31 km (43.90km of mixed traffic lanes). This component depends on when existing construction is delivered between 2025/2026; and b) Av. Calle 80 between Los Heroes and Portal 80 – 7.42 kms (42.95 km – including mixed traffic lanes
