The objective of the consultation is to better support stakeholders in the process of implementing carbon pricing tools; in particular through training; capacity building and the development of carbon pilot projects.Specifically; this will involve:-          Inform on national and international mechanisms relating to GHG emissions; mitigation policies including the NDC and national mitigation policies-          Ensure a better understanding of the carbon tax process; its role and the implications to be expected;-          Facilitate a better understanding of the carbon market process and the development of eligible projects;-          Create a critical mass of experts in the field of MRV and carbon pricing tools;-          Train stakeholders on the basic principles concerning the validation and verification of carbon projects.-          Strengthen Senegal’s carbon project portfolio;-          Familiarize project leaders and private sector stakeholders with the key elements of a detailed carbon project document.
