The Sri Lanka Early Childhood Development Project will increase the ability of disadvantaged children to access learning opportunities. It will also contribute to improve learning outcomes and support Sri Lanka to become more competitive in the global economy in the long run.
The credit for this project is being provided by the International Development Association (IDA) – the World Bank’s concessionary lending arm –with a maturity of 25 years, including a 5 year grace period.
