We're installing solar in over 300,000 homes per month, which means we visit families on a daily basis that are benefiting from renewable solar, clean energy. We also have over 3,000 direct employees on payroll. These are people in product development and data science, in engineering, working to innovate and deploy solar as quickly as we can. It’s a large number of jobs in places where employment is often quite difficult—rural, remote parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. It's a really exciting job creation opportunity.

To better align contributions to Mission 300, the World Bank Group and the AfDB created the Mission 300 Development Partner Coordination Group. It ensures partners’ efforts are coordinated and strategically deployed, strengthening the collective impact on Africa’s energy future by directing resources where they’re needed most and ensuring reforms and investments work together at scale.
